MathGuru is built by some parents from India, for children to use with a parent or guardian — so privacy is kept simple and minimal. We build no profiles, and no personal details are needed to play or practise.
No ads, no third-party tracking. The site shows no advertisements and uses no third-party trackers or analytics — it's just maths, your child, and you.
What we keep.
- Accounts — just a username and a password; no phone number, no real name.
- Practice and play records — the problems tried, the scores earned, and the settings chosen, saved under your child's guest name or the user id you created. This is how your child's progress is remembered and shown back to you as a report, under the same user id.
- Essential cookies only — one keeps you signed in; one protects forms. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Passwords. Right now a forgotten password cannot be recovered, so keep it safe. An email-based recovery option is coming soon — the email will be optional.
Free and premium. Most games and features are partially free. For the full versions, a premium subscription is coming soon, at a very nominal monthly price.
Your choices. Your child can play as a guest, without any account — but a guest's scores may not stay for long. To keep their progress safely, create a free account — just don't forget the user id and password, since recovery isn't available yet. The premium subscription, when it arrives, will bring the full versions — with your child's progress graded level by level. You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from the Account page — it permanently removes the account and every record connected to it.
Feedback. For any issue or suggestion, send us a message through the private feedback form; we reply right here on the site, through a notification.
